Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara Expounding the Dharma to a Devotee: Folio from a Ashtasahasrika Prajnaparamita Manuscript early 12th centuryFridays 2.00-3.30pm with James Whelan

These classes are for the purpose of studying certain words or phrases in the Buddhist texts with reference to the original Pali/Sanskrit meanings rather than simply accepting the standard translations frequently offered to us.

The class is therefore referred to as the ‘word clinic’.

Please enquire if you wish to learn Pali or Sanskrit more fully.
