Dharma Read: In the light of clear awareness.

In the light of clear awareness, Anattā takes on a liberating dimension. To realise that there is no fixed self to cling to is not a loss, but a release — a freedom from the burdens of identity, from the constant need to defend, assert, and maintain a false sense of permanence. Instead of seeing ourselves as isolated entities moving through an external world, we come to understand that what we call ‘self’ is merely a momentary appearance within the vast field of awareness. This field is not ‘ours’ in the possessive sense, but is the very ground of being that we share with all phenomena.
