Dharma Read: Embracing Impermanence.

One of the most liberating aspects of Buddhist practice is the acceptance of impermanence. Understanding that all things are in a state of constant change allows us to let go of our rigid attachment to form and identity. When we cling to a fixed idea of self, we set ourselves in opposition to the natural flow of life. But when we embrace impermanence, we align ourselves with reality, and in doing so, we find peace.

Buddha-nature, is not diminished by the changing external world. It is always present, like the clear sky behind passing clouds. The clouds of egotism, materialism, and attachment may obscure our view, but they do not change the nature of the sky. In the same way, Buddha-nature is always present, unblemished by the distractions and illusions of the world.
